The Ministry of Interior has announced new dates in February for applicants who were unable to complete the Centralised E-Recruitment Portal Aptitude Test due to technical challenges.

In a public notice, the ministry acknowledged that some Category C applicants holding WASSCE certificates experienced difficulties submitting their aptitude tests online, affecting part of the 2025/26 security services recruitment exercise.

To ensure fairness, a staggered mop-up exercise has been scheduled from Saturday, February 21 to Friday, February 28, 2026, with specific dates assigned to the various security agencies.

Applicants to the Ghana Immigration Service will retake their tests from February 21 to 23. Those seeking enlistment into the Ghana Police Service are scheduled for February 24 and 25.

The exercise will conclude with candidates applying to the Ghana National Fire Service and the Ghana Prisons Service, who will access the portal from February 26 to 28.

In addition, a general mop-up session for all categories (A to C) will take place from March 1 to March 2, 2026. Results of the aptitude test are expected to be published on March 4, 2026.

The ministry indicated that affected applicants will receive SMS notifications with instructions to log back into the portal and complete their assessments within the new timeframe.

However, it clarified that about 82 per cent of applicants who have already successfully completed the test will not be allowed to access the portal during the extension period to prevent system congestion.
