Media personality Nana Frimpong Ziega has called for the empowerment of the Ghana AIDS Commission to enable it carry out HIV testing for victims involved in the alleged Russian man saga, to mitigate potential health risks.

Speaking in UTV’s United Showbiz on February 22, 2026, Nana Frimpong Ziega stressed the urgency of identifying and testing the affected women to prevent the possible spread of HIV.

“We should empower them so that in situations like this, we can identify the women and get them tested. It’s very dangerous because they have boyfriends and husbands, so they can infect them with the virus,” he said.
