Once upon a time armed robber in Kumawoor movies, Dr. Likee, known privately as Akwasi Antwi, said it is because of the first gentleman of Ghana, President Mahama, that he is still into acting.
Despite his fame and success, Dr. Likee said that plans were well advanced for him to quit acting; however, things changed along the way.
Speaking with Giovani on TV3, monitored by Gh Page, Dr. Likee shared what transpired between him and the president of Ghana after he had decided to quit acting.
Dr. Likee disclosed that the president praised him for being an exceptional actor when the duo met.
According to Dr. Likee, the president told him that he had been watching his videos, and likes them so much, hence, he was a fan of the actor.
Ras Nene claims his encounter with the president made him come to know that he had prominent people watching him, a clear indication that he was doing something better.
