The Kensei-Kai Foundation on Saturday held a capacity-building workshop for senior high school karate instructors in partnership with the Ghana Karate-Do Federation, as part of efforts to standardize coaching across schools.

The program focused on aligning school-based training with nationally approved technical standards. Instructors were taken through advanced kihon, practical kata application, structured kumite with clear safety protocols, grading benchmarks, and injury prevention techniques.

The aim was to ensure uniformity in instruction and raise the overall quality of karate development at the high school level.
