The Ghana National Fire Service has reported the death of three male occupants of a truck at Asenema Waterfalls on the Adukrom–Koforidua Highway.
In a statement issued on March 7, the Service said their overturned HOWO 371 truck trapped them in following the accident.
Personnel from the Kpong Municipal Fire Station responded and carried out extrication operations to retrieve the victims who were pronounced dead at the scene.
“The bodies were handed over to the Police MTTD and transported to the Tetteh-Quarshie Memorial Hospital morgue at Mampong.”
The crew further ensured the road was cleared and safe for motorists before returning to base.
