Honourable Kwabena Boateng, Member of Parliament for Ejisu, has fulfilled a promise made during the 69th Independence Day celebrations. He awarded a full scholarship to Emmanuella Obeng Saab, the best female WASSCE student, who is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at KNUST.
Additionally, Honourable Boateng presented cash prizes to the best male and female BECE students, Annor Oswald Acheampong and Mensah Eshun Serwaa, who attend Opoku Ware Senior High School and Labone Senior High School, respectively.
Accompanied by their parents, the recipients expressed heartfelt gratitude to the MP and promised to excel academically. Honourable Boateng assured them of his continued support to ensure their future success.
This gesture is part of his broader initiative, the MP’s Tertiary Students Support, aimed at supporting brilliant but needy students in tertiary institutions within the Ejisu constituency. So far, over 40 students from various communities have benefited from the initiative, with plans to expand support to three students from each community.
This commitment underscores Honourable Boateng’s dedication to improving education in the Ejisu constituency, ensuring that brilliant but needy students have equal access to educational opportunities and the support needed to achieve their goals.
