Vice President Naana Opoku-Agyemang calls for peace and unity in Eid message

Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the Muslim community in Ghana following her participation in prayers with the Ahlus Sunna Muslim community at the forecourt of the State House.

In a Facebook post, the Vice President said the holy month of Ramadan represents discipline, sacrifice, and moral renewal, urging Ghanaians to reflect, build strong character, and reaffirm their responsibilities to society.

The Vice President joined the Ahlus Sunna Muslim community at the forecourt of the State House, in the company of distinguished Imams, clerics, and other Ghanaians.

She noted that the period serves as a reminder of the shared values that bind citizens together and promote national unity.

Professor Opoku-Agyemang further called for peace within the country and across the world, expressing the hope that Eid would bring joy to hearts, peace to homes, and strengthen unity and harmony in the nation.
