A week after a tragic helicopter crash in Tema claimed two lives, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has sent a high-powered delegation to commiserate with the bereaved family.
The victims have been identified as Frank Amoaning Donkor, 36, a flight instructor, and Elijah Ofori Donkor, 25, a university graduate, both sons of Elder Frank Donkor.
In response to the incident, Dr. Bawumia dispatched a delegation led by Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, to visit the family of Elder Frank Donkor and offer condolences.
The delegation included Chief Whip Frank Annoh-Dompreh, Campaign Manager Frederick Opare-Ansah, Communications Advisor Yaw Osafo-Maafo Akomea, and Senior Advisor Fred Oware, among other party officials.
The visit was marked by a solemn atmosphere, as prayers were offered for the bereaved family.
The delegation conveyed Dr. Bawumia’s sympathies and assured the family of the party’s support during this difficult period.
