Bishop Boxing Promotions signs knockout ace Wasiru “Gyatabi” Mohammed

Bishop Boxing Promotions has strengthened its stable with the signing of Ghanaian knockout specialist, Wasiru “Gyatabi” Mohammed, in a move aimed at bolstering its competitive edge on the regional and international boxing scene.

Power puncher joins growing stable

A formidable force in the super bantamweight and featherweight divisions, Mohammed is a former WBO Africa and WBO Global champion. His explosive punching power and impressive stoppage record have earned him a reputation as one of West Africa’s most exciting fighters.

He began his professional career in April 2017 with a commanding performance, stopping Isaac Mensah via a fourth-round technical knockout. Mohammed went on to claim the WBO Africa super bantamweight title in 2018 after a hard-fought technical decision over Isaac Sackey, before adding the WBO Global belt to his achievements.
