Ghanaian internet sensation, Afua Asantewaa has asked Ghanaians to leave her alone because she is doing what she thinks and feels is good for her.
The singathon attemptee has stated categorically that there is no iota of truth in reports that she broke up with her husband after fame located her.
She noted that, she was on the verge of leaving her husband, however, plans were far advanced towards her singing attempt, so her dad advised her to exercise a little patience.
“Everyone should let me be because if I don’t wake up tomorrow, no one will speak for me”, she said, adding that “I left the marriage before the singathon so it has got nothing to do with fame”.
Afua disclosed that, it was because of the brouhaha that existed between her husband and herself that when he was giving her a flower during her attempt, she knelt to deliver.
She stated in furtherance that, following that act, she fought the husband behind the scenes, however, her focus was still on the attempt so she made things slide.
“You knew what you did to me so during the singathon, when a flower was brought to me, you knelt to give it to me as if you were a lover. We fought in the hotel because you knew I was leaving you”, she said.
She added “My dad told me that I should be patient and because the singathon was approaching that’s not a good time to divorce him”.
