Ishmael Yamson & Associates (IY&A) has unveiled a new initiative aimed at equipping corporate and public sector leaders with the tools to make informed decisions on artificial intelligence adoption. The Executive “Lunch & Learn” series, titled Applied AI Advantage, seeks to transform AI from an abstract interest into actionable, board-ready strategies.
Designed as a weekly leadership forum, the series targets senior executives, board members, and risk professionals, offering structured insights into high-impact AI applications across sectors such as finance, consumer goods, energy, government, healthcare, and technology. Each session provides participants with a tailored AI “Decision Packet,” detailing prioritized use cases, data requirements, governance protocols, and implementation pathways.
Speaking on the launch, Snr Partner and Chief AI Officer Richard Osei-Anim highlighted the urgency of the initiative: “The conversation around AI is moving rapidly from curiosity to responsibility. Boards and executive teams are being asked to make decisions about AI adoption that affect productivity, competitiveness, and institutional risk. These series are designed to give leaders a practical framework for moving from interest to informed action.”
The programme follows a six-session curriculum addressing key areas where AI is transforming organisational performance. Sessions cover AI portfolio prioritisation, commercial acceleration, operational automation, supply chain resilience, risk and compliance management, and AI-driven product innovation. A final capstone session guides participants in converting selected AI opportunities into a 30-day pilot mobilisation plan, enabling swift movement from strategy discussion to controlled deployment.
Sessions will be delivered primarily in person at ALX Ghana, with livestream options available for regional executives. Participation is invite-led, ensuring an intimate, executive-focused environment. The first session begins next week, with dates scheduled from April 14 through May 21.
The launch of Applied AI Advantage represents IY&A’s commitment to supporting resilient institutions in the era of AI, extending its focus on leadership, strategy, culture, and people into technological transformation.
The series takes place on April 14, 16, 21, 23 28 and 30. It then continues on May 5, 7, 12, 14, 19 and 21. The sessions take place at ALX Ghana. Register at
