Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has asked his colleague, Stonebwoy to buttress his claims that Shatta has accused him of causing his late mother, Catherine Satekla’s death.
Speaking during a TikTok live on April 8, monitored by GH Page, the dancehall musician refuted such claims and dared the Bhim Nation president to prove his assertions if, indeed, they are true.
Shatta Wale noted that if he really said that, it wouldn’t be difficult for his colleague to get proof, stating that everything he says, as far as entertainment is concerned, can be found on the internet.
He went on to add that, the screenshot Stonebwoy used in buttressing his assertion was a statement he made which did not correlate with the Bhim Nation President.
“If I ever said such a thing about Stonebwoy, then someone should prove it. Because I do everything on the internet. That screenshot you’re referring to, I was addressing Joy FM”, he said, adding that “I wasn’t referring to Stonebwoy. That is why I always say we shouldn’t allow ourselves to be misled by the media”.
Shatta Wale noted that, even though he likes playing and sometimes, attacking people, no matter what, he wouldn’t stoop too low to accuse his colleague of his mother’s death, knowing very well that human beings are mortals, and whether they like it or not, they will surely buy their tickets to the silence and join their maker.
“He keeps saying this all the time and I keep asking myself why? Because even if I didn’t have sense, I wouldn’t make such statements about the death of someone’s mother”, he said.
He advised that “it’s about time he stopped that, because sometimes, when I come across such claims I wonder what he is trying to achieve. Why does he want people to see me as a bad person?”
