Ghanaian musician Fameye has showered massive praise on his colleague and former Lynx Entertainment signee Kuami Eugene.
Speaking in an interview with George Quaye on Prime Time which airs on Joy Prime, Fameye did not hold back in expressing his admiration for the “Angela” hitmaker.
According to him, when it comes to the current crop of young acts in the system, no one comes close to Kuami Eugene’s level.
Fameye emphasized that Kuami Eugene’s consistency and impact over the years set him apart from his peers. He pointed to the musician’s impressive catalogue of hit songs as a solo artiste, as well as the numerous features he has delivered for other artistes that have dominated the airwaves.
“He has done it all,” Fameye noted, adding that beyond his personal hits, Kuami Eugene has also written songs for several artistes and produced quality music from his own studio. These contributions, he stressed, solidify Kuami Eugene’s status as a legend among the younger generation.
Fameye went even further to describe him as the “GOAT” (Greatest of All Time) among young Ghanaian artistes, insisting that his influence and body of work are unmatched.
Highlighting another key trait, Fameye commended Kuami Eugene’s resilience in the face of industry challenges. He remarked that despite facing backlash and various hardships throughout his career, the award-winning singer has managed to remain relevant and successful.
According to Fameye, Kuami Eugene’s ability to endure criticism while continuing to produce hits is a testament to his strength and dedication to his craft. He also praised his colleague’s humility and willingness to support others in the industry, noting that he cares deeply about almost everyone he works with.
These qualities, Fameye concluded, are what truly make Kuami Eugene stand out as not just a talented artiste, but a respected figure in Ghana’s music scene.
