Business mogul, Richard Nii Armah Quaye has insisted that he used to wash more than 5000 plates abroad before becoming the wealthy man he is now.

Richard Nii Armah Quaye continues to trend across social media platforms following his divorce issues, which have become a topic of online discussion.

Speaking in a recent interview with Delay, RNAQ as he is affectionately called insisted on washing more than 5000 plates in a day to become wealthy.

According to him, when he made the statement, many Ghanaians concluded that there was no iota of truth in it, hence, pulled his legs, while many on the other side used unprintable words on him.

In buttressing his assertion, RNAQ said that “there are hotels in West Africa with another 2000 rooms; some even have 5000 rooms. Let’s say the hotel I worked in had 1000 rooms. If occupants in those rooms come for breakfast, you are dealing with thousands of people”, he said.

He questioned, “When you go for breakfast, how many plates do you use?”, adding that “a lot and beyond that, the food has to be prepared. Which also uses dishes. By the time you prepare food for about 3000 people, a lot of dishes would have been used- and that is just breakfast. There is lunch as well”.

He noted that “people disputed this and were using a calculator to do the calculations. I have realized that a lot of people are confidently ignorant. I never exaggerated. I was even charitable with the 5000 figure”.
