Diminutive Kumawood actor, Don Little has shared his beginning as an actor, revealing that success is not achieved on a silver platter.

Speaking with Empress Gifty in an interview, Don Little shared that his beginning wasn’t as easy as many people outside see it, as he gave a blow-by-blow account of how he became the Don Little he is today.

The actor claims the industry was so competitive that he had to try his best to impress directors and producers to use him, revealing that he bought gifts for the producers to use him.

Even though the producers took every gift he offered them, they were never impressed as he claims he was never found in the movies that he took part in.

The actor claims he took part in several movies, however, anytime the movies came out, he was nowhere to be found even though he shot scenes in them.

“The first movie I shot, I played the passerby role. When the movie was out, I wasn’t in”, the Kumawood actor shared his painful journey.

Don Little revealed that anytime he couldn’t find himself in movies he took part in, he was really pained because that time, he had to hawk peanuts to make peanut which he invested in the movie.

“I wasn’t really pained because at that time, I hawked and the little money I got, I would take it to the movie set”, he expressed.

“Sometimes, when you want to get noticed by the directors, or try to impress them in a way so that they would want to work with you. I would buy gifts for them, but in the end, they would just use me as a passerby, where someone would ask me for directions. When the movies came out, I couldn’t find myself in them even though I took part”, he added.
