Ghanaian Reggae artiste Osagyefo, known in private life as Dennis Afram and affectionately called the Simple Entertainer, has released the official video for his latest single, Homeland Ghana.

The song, driven by authentic roots Reggae rhythms, is a celebration of Ghana’s beauty, culture and tourism opportunities. Through its lyrics and visuals, Osagyefo presents Ghana as a peaceful and welcoming nation, highlighting the warmth, unity and pride of its people.

More than just a music video, Homeland Ghana doubles as a cultural showcase, taking viewers on a photographic journey across some of the country’s iconic landmarks.

Scenes feature the wildlife-rich Mole National Park, the historic Cape – Castle, the symbolic Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Black Star Square.

The visuals also capture the serene environment of the Aburi Botanical Gardens, while extending to the northern parts of the country with scenes from the Paga Crocodile Pond and historic Larabanga Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in West Africa.

Food, fashion and tradition are woven throughout the video, with colourful depictions of Ghanaian cuisine, attire and dance, reinforcing the country’s rich cultural identity.

“With Homeland Ghana, I don’t only deliver a good Reggae song but also contribute to promoting tourism and national pride, positioning Ghana as a destination full of life, heritage and opportunity.

“The video is expected to boost the song’s reach while amplifying its message of unity, heritage and national pride,” he stated.

Osagyefo, who has built a reputation as one of Ghana’s notable Reggae voices, has shared stages with international acts including Alpha Blondy, Tony Rebel, Mutabaruka and Anthony B.

Homeland comes on the back of his latest 10-track roots Reggae album, Danger, released on October 2025.

Last year, Osagyefo headlined the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Festival held at Gold Coast Restaurant and Cocktail Bar in Accra, delivering a performance that celebrated African heritage and reinforced his reputation as a leading voice in Ghana’s Reggae scene.
