Akyem Oda: Two Injured, One Arrested Following Violent Clash at New Station Area

The police have restored calm to Akyem Oda after a violent clash involving a group of young men armed with cutlasses at the New Station Area.

The incident came to light after a video showing the men attacking each other with cutlasses went viral on social media.

Police said they responded swiftly to the scene to bring the situation under control.

Upon arrival, officers did not find the group at the scene, but later located two of the suspects receiving treatment at separate health facilities.

Suspect George Okyere, 30, was found at the emergency ward of the Oda Jubilee Hospital with a deep cut on his forehead and his right finger reportedly chopped off.

The second suspect, Paul Pascalele, was being treated at the Akyem Oda Government Hospital for a deep cut on his right hand.

A third suspect, Evans Adayele, has been arrested from his hideout and is currently assisting police with investigations.

The Police said efforts are ongoing to track down and arrest the remaining individuals involved in the attack for further investigation and prosecution.

Police have assured residents that normalcy has been restored in the area and urged the public to remain calm while investigations continue.
