Standard Chartered Ghana has conveyed a goodwill message to the King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, celebrating the Monarch on his 27th enstoolment anniversary and 76th birthday.
The message was delivered during a courtesy visit by the bank’s management on May 8, 2026, at the Manhyia Palace.
The delegation was led by Chief Executive Mansa Nettey and included senior executives Yvonne Gyebi, Asiedua Addae, Asantewaa Antwi, Seth Boateng, and Joseph Dadzie.
Speaking during the visit, Mansa Nettey said the purpose was to pay respects and extend the bank’s well wishes to the Asantehene.
“My purpose here is to come and see His Majesty and extend the Bank’s well wishes,” she said.
The visit formed part of a series of engagements with the Manhyia Palace as institutions across the country mark Otumfuo’s milestone birthday and anniversary on the Golden Stool.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II ascended the Golden Stool on April 26, 1999, and marked his 76th birthday on May 6, 2026.
The courtesy call provided an opportunity for the bank to reaffirm its relationship with the Asante Kingdom and acknowledge Otumfuo’s role in promoting peace, culture, and development in the region.
