A new luxury hotel, Anthonian Suites, has been inaugurated at Osu in Accra, to provide modern comfort blended with Ghanaian hospitality in the heart of the city.
The facility, located on the Asafoatse Tempong Street, was officially opened on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
Anthonian Suites offers a collection of 23 serviced apartments designed for both short and extended stays, targeting business travellers, digital nomads and tourists seeking to experience the rhythm of Accra.
Facilities
The hotel features five studio suites,10 one-bedroom suites and eight two-bedroom suites. Each suite combines elegance, comfort and functionality, with the aim of giving guests the freedom to feel at home while enjoying the service of a boutique hotel.
Beyond the suites, guests have access to premium amenities, including a ground-floor bistro that serves fresh, flavourful dishes in a relaxed setting.
The bistro also serves as a co-working hub for business travellers and digital nomads.
Other facilities include a rooftop pool and bar with city views, an outdoor fitness centre for wellness, and a meeting room with flexible setups for executive meetings or work sessions.
The Director of Anthonian Suites, Nana Kwame Oteng-Gyasi, said the launch of the new luxury hotel reflects a commitment to excellence in the country’s hospitality industry.
He said the vision of the owners was to bring to life a quality establishment in the heart of Accra.
He indicated that the hotel was proud to contribute to the capital’s growing reputation as a destination for business and leisure and expressed gratitude for the support received.
The director commended the building development team, especially the architect and developer, Mr Hussein Fakhry, for their passion in designing and building the project.
He also thanked the dedicated staff and management for their hard work.
“To our partners and guests, we look forward to hosting you and exceeding your expectations,” Mr Oteng-Gyasi added.
Affordable luxury
For his part, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey, described Anthonian Suites as a facility that defines luxury lifestyle in the capital.
He said the hotel’s customer service, spacious rooms and unique views set it apart from other accommodation properties in Accra.
“I have been here a couple of times and hosted my guests here.
I had the whole British Airways cabin crew having an experience here and believe me, there’s no accommodation hospitality in the heart of the capital that defines luxury lifestyle more than Anthonian Suites,” Mr Aggrey said.
As an industry practitioner and regulator, Mr Aggrey said Anthonian Suites represented the quality international standard the GTA was looking for.
He said the facility had created job opportunities and defined international quality hospitality that Ghana sought to benchmark against competitors in destination marketing.
