Mona Gucci, a prominent figure in the media industry, shed light on the challenges she faces in her line of work, emphasizing the toll it has taken on her personal relationships.
Speaking from her own experiences on TV3 monitored by News & Vibes , Mona Gucci highlighted the inherent challenges that accompany her job, acknowledging that every profession has its ups and downs.
“I’ve been through a lot, you know every job comes with the merits and demerits. Obviously I have lost some friends as some friends think that when I am doing this or I am even on the wrong side, Mona needs to speak for me,” she shared.
Despite the personal sacrifices she has made, Mona Gucci remains steadfast in her commitment to speak out when necessary, even if it means risking friendships.
“I’m not gonna do that, then the friendship goes back to zero. Sometimes I wouldn’t want to talk about it but sometimes, it is gonna cause harm to an innocent person so I will have to talk about it,” she explained.
One notable fallout from her outspokenness was her rift with Moesha Boduong, stemming from controversial statements made about “slay queens.” The disagreement led to the dissolution of their friendship.
Because of their strained relationship, Mona has also decided not to involve herself in fundraising efforts for Moesha who is currently battling for her life.
