Renowned gospel musician Evangelist Diana Asamoah found herself at the center of controversy as she took action against her personal assistant, who is also a pastor, for alleged theft.
According to reports, Diana accused her assistant of unauthorized access to her mobile phone and subsequently transferring an amount of 4,000 cedis from her account.
She claimed that her assistant, who often supported her during evangelical activities, obtained her mobile money PIN without consent.
Utilizing available resources, including digital tools, the Evangelist and law enforcement authorities identified and apprehended the alleged perpetrator.
In a video shared online, she advised Ghanaians to be careful of the kind of pastors they associate with since not all of them are real.
She gave the name of the PA as Rev Eric Kwame Asante and described him as a tongues speaking person.
She added that this is not the first time as he had done this so many times in the past but always apologised when caught.
The incident highlights the potential risks of unauthorized access to personal information and the importance of safeguarding against such breaches.
The arrest has stirred discussions within the gospel music community, with many expressing shock and concern over the alleged betrayal of trust.
