(Pictures) Bawumia renovates Mahama’s chief palace; Gonjaland vows not to vote for Mahama again – NPP Communicator


The renovation of the ancient Jakpa Palace in Damongo has been successfully completed, fulfilling a promise made by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President of Ghana who is a presidential candidate in the 2024 elections.

The Jakpa Palace, which serves as the Palace of the Overlord of the Gonjaland, has been transformed into a modern structure.

During his visit to the Jakpa Palace on Monday, November 20, 2023, Dr. Bawumia promised the Overlord of the Gonjaland Traditional area to renovate his Palace into a modern one. The completion of this renovation project marks the fulfillment of that promise.

According to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in a post shared by communicator Abdul Rauf Ibrahim on X formerly Twitter, the people of Gonjaland have expressed their gratitude and have vowed not to vote for John Mahama Dumsor again.

They argue that they have benefited more from Dr. Bawumia as Vice President than from John Mahama as President. They believe they will benefit even more from Dr. Bawumia becoming the president of Ghana.
