Actress Serwaa Telemo has voiced her concern regarding the stereotypes surrounding her body shape.
She revealed that she often faces judgment and is labeled as a “bad girl” simply because she has a curvy figure, particularly prominent buttocks.
During an interview with Zionfelix, she opened up about the challenges she encounters due to societal perceptions based on her appearance.
Serwaa expressed frustration over the tendency for people to make assumptions about her character solely based on her physical attributes. She emphasized that individuals with voluptuous figures like hers often attract undue attention and unfair judgment.
“You know how people see me. i have a big buttocks, breasts. people use that as an excuse to judge me according to how i look. Those of us with big buttocks, everything you do catches attention.”
Despite the misconceptions, Serwaa asserted her true character, describing herself as a diligent, respectful, and responsible individual.
“Talking about myself, I will say I am a very hardworking girl, very wise, very respectful and responsible.”
She stressed that she strives to uphold positive values and conduct herself with integrity in all aspects of her life.
Addressing the impact of negative labeling, Serwaa admitted that being referred to as a “bad girl” deeply affects her, as she desires recognition for her positive traits and contributions rather than superficial judgments based on appearance.
“When people make these comments that I am a bad girl, I feel bad because i would want people to say good things about but i cannot explain myself to everybody.”
