A suspect has been apprehended in connection with the brutal murder of Madam Alberta Armah Hagan and her two daughters. The suspect, identified as Madam Alberta’s boyfriend, is alleged to have committed the crime due to issues surrounding mobile money transactions.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the Net Link Estate community at Kasoa. The gruesome discovery was made in the early hours of Tuesday morning when neighbors reported disturbances coming from the apartment. Responding to the calls, local authorities entered the residence and found the lifeless bodies of Alberta Armah Hagan, a woman in her mid-40s, and her two daughters, all of whom had suffered multiple stab wounds.
According to reports, Madam Alberta had recently filed a report with the police regarding her boyfriend transferring GHS20,000 sent to her by her ex-husband in the US for their two daughters without her knowledge. Adding to the tragedy, two other children of the deceased woman, aged 9 months and 6 years, were found alive but with severe injuries. The injured children were rushed to a nearby hospital where they are currently receiving medical treatment. Their condition remains critical but stable, according to hospital officials.
