Ghanaian music sensation Alka Youngest has revealed his decision to remove several of his earlier tracks from online platforms. In an exclusive interview monitored by News & Vibes, the artist explained that this move was driven by a desire to refine his music and present only his best work to his audience.
“I have more songs, but I take them off because sometimes when I listen to them, it feels like I’m just playing around,” Alka Youngest shared. “It got to a time when I felt I was better, so the old ones I had uploaded, I took them off. For now, there are four songs left on the internet that people can say are mine.”
The young artist emphasized that the decision to delete older tracks was not taken lightly. He wants to ensure that his music showcases his growth and improved skills, rather than leaving behind tracks that don’t meet his current standards.
“I have songs that show my beginnings that I have kept online, but there are some I had to delete to prevent people from taking them and making them professional,” he explained. “So when I had better ideas, I deleted them to work on them later.”
The music industry looks forward to what Alka Youngest has in store, as he continues to make strides and establish himself as a significant player in the Ghanaian music scene.
