He advised Dr. Bawumia to be truthful and acknowledge the shortcomings of his government, stressing that this would earn him the trust of the people.

“Make your message comprehensive and be real in your promises,” the Asantehene counseled. “No government can do all the work. Others will come and continue from where you left off. Acknowledge your shortcomings and tell Ghanaians you will continue from there.”

The Asantehene’s words of wisdom aim to guide Dr. Bawumia in his campaign promises, encouraging him to prioritize feasibility and reason in his message to the nation. By doing so, Dr. Bawumia can gain the trust of Ghanaians and build a strong foundation for his presidency.
