Nigerian singer, Fave, has made a shocking revelation about her childhood.
In a recent interview monitored by News & Vibes, the 24-year-old singer disclosed that she had a romantic relationship with her choirmaster when she was just 10 years old.
Fave, whose real name is Chidozie Ugochinyere, explained that the relationship was a consensual one and that they were both part of the children’s choir at the time.
She described the relationship as “cute” and said that they would talk on the phone at midnight.
Fave’s revelation has sparked mixed reactions, with some fans expressing shock and others praising her for her honesty.
Born Chidozie Godsfavour Ugochinyere, the young musician hails from Anambra State, Nigeria, where she was reared.
Nigerian musician and songwriter Fave is a rising talent. Her hit tracks Beautifully and Baby Riddim have made her well-known. Along with this, she has published a number of additional songs, including Obsessed, Be With You, and Scatta Scatta.
Fave entered the music business in 2019. In January 2022, she released Riddim 5, her debut EP record. In addition, the singer has cooperated with well-known musicians in Nigerian music and published other songs.
She co-owns the record company Tumblar, where she is now signed.
She gained recognition after releasing several minute-long videos on Twitter during the COVID-19 lockdown.
