Why Ghanaians have never voted for a good leader

Former CEO of Unique Trust Financial Services, Kofi Amoabeng, in a recent interview monitored by News & Vibes, elaborated on the reasoning behind why Ghanaians have perceived Akufo Addo, among others, as their leader in the midst of various presidential and parliamentary candidates.

The prominent business magnate expressed his belief that the average Ghanaian is characterized by negative traits such as being inherently bad, evil, and filled with jealousy.

According to Amoabeng, it is this negative demeanor displayed by the average Ghanaian that has led to the emergence of what he perceives as inadequate or lackluster leadership in the country.

He suggests that the presence of these undesirable qualities within the populace has influenced the choice of leadership that God has bestowed upon Ghanaians.

In essence, Amoabeng shares the view that the perceived shortcomings and faults of the Ghanaian people have contributed to the selection of leaders who may not necessarily possess the best interests of the nation at heart.

It is his assertion that these negative aspects of the Ghanaian society have played a pivotal role in the type of leaders that have been elected to serve the country.
