The comment, made by a user named Chidera, raised concerns about Imade’s apparent reluctance to smile freely, suggesting that the young girl might be insecure about her teeth.
Chidera wrote, “Why doesn’t she smile and laugh freely? It seems like she’s insecure about her teeth. If I’m right, she doesn’t need to be. She has beautiful teeth.”
Sophia Momodu, clearly irritated by the comment, responded by explaining why she prefers sharing personal moments on her private Snapchat, where she has no Nigerian followers. She expressed frustration with how often people make assumptions about children, especially her own.
Taking to her Snapchat, Sophia fired back, saying, “Honestly, this is why I don’t post more on my private snap with zero Nigerians. You all are constantly projecting or talking smack about her child. She is Imade Adeleke’s daughter, Sophia Momodu’s daughter. She’s doing fine and has had more confidence than most of you since day one.”
Sophia emphasized that Imade is a confident young girl and urged her critics to stop speculating about her daughter’s behavior.
