John Dramani Mahama is a Man of Intergrity

In a recent interview, Sammy Gyamfi, a prominent political figure, praised former President John Dramani Mahama for demonstrating that integrity still exists within politics.

Gyamfi highlighted that Mahama’s actions have proven that not all politicians are the same, contrasting his leadership with the current administration under President Akufo-Addo.

Gyamfi reflected on the widespread loss of trust during the Akufo-Addo government, mentioning that under the leadership of Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia, many Ghanaians, particularly the youth, became disillusioned with politics. He noted that the political class had failed to live up to expectations, leading to a lack of hope in the nation’s future.

He stated, “In the last eight years, one commodity that became scarce under the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government was trust in public leadership. People completely lost hope. There was a sense of disillusionment among the youth, and many gave up on the future of Ghana. This was reflected in the low voter turnout in the 2024 elections.”
