The Public Relations Officer of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh, has urged women to prioritize their dignity over titles in relationships.
Her statement follows online discussions surrounding Senator Natasha’s reported decision to adopt the surname of Nigerian music star, 2Face Idibia.
The controversy has sparked debates about relationships, loyalty, and self-worth.
Taking to Twitter, SP Adeh emphasized that men who easily replace one woman with another often repeat the pattern.
She noted that how a man treats women is a reflection of his character and serves as an example to his children and society at large.
She further advised women to be cautious in relationships, warning that if a man leaves one woman for another, the new partner could also face the same fate. Urging women to protect their hearts, finances, and future, she reminded them not to confuse temporary passion for lasting love.
Her message, which she shared on Mother’s Day, resonated with many social media users, sparking mixed reactions. Some supported her stance, while others questioned its relevance to the situation at hand.
“A man who easily replaces a woman will do it again. How he treats women is a reflection of his character, his children are watching (if any )and so is the world. My fellow gender, no title is worth losing your dignity over. If he left her for you, don’t celebrate just yet—your turn may come. Protect your heart, your finances, and your future. Don’t mistake temporary passion for lasting love. Love is sweet, but wisdom is necessary. Happy Mother’s Day”.
