Speaking ahead of their clash with Berekum Chelsea at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium yesterday, the 21-year-old said he was not carried away by his match-winning strike and remained eager to contribute more goals.

“The party mood is over, and personally, I’ll say it has helped me a lot. It’s an encouraging goal for me but I won’t get overexcited. I always work hard for moments like this, so I won’t be carried away,” he said.

The youngster also spoke about adapting to his new role at left-back, explaining that although he has played there before, he is still learning and working to improve, as it is not his natural position.

Adamu attributed Hearts’ recent resurgence to strong communication within the squad, noting that the blend of experience and youthful energy has been key to their performances.

In his debut season with the club, the defender expressed his desire to score more in upcoming fixtures and called on fans to continue backing the team.

He added that the support of the Phobians faithful remains crucial as the side pushes to build momentum and deliver consistent performances for the rest of the campaign.
