Leaders of the Believers Worship Centre have issued strict instructions ahead of this year’s December 31st night gathering, cautioning members not to turn the event grounds at Philadelphia City in Bompata into a trading zone. The church, led by Stephen Adom Kyei Duah, delivered the message through a video circulated online, making it clear that the crossover service will not accommodate any form of selling.

According to the announcement, anyone seen bringing goods to the venue will lose both the items and the proceeds made from them. The directive was presented as part of efforts to keep the event centered on worship rather than commercial activity. The communicator referenced the conduct of visitors to Mecca, noting that pilgrims do not go there to set up stalls, but rather to focus on their spiritual duties.

The church also revealed growing concerns over the spread of fake “spiritual items” that are being marketed as connected to the ministry. Among these are various chains and other accessories that have gained popularity despite having no link to Stephen Adom Kyei Duah or the church. Members were urged to avoid buying any merchandise from outside sources, as the leadership is unsure of their origin and is currently investigating their circulation.

To enforce these rules, the church has arranged for a strong security presence during the crossover night. Police officers, soldiers, and fire service personnel will be stationed around the grounds to ensure that the service remains focused on prayer and to prevent the venue from being misused as a marketplace.
