Ghanaian gospel artist Afia Ayiwah has started 2026 on a high note by releasing a brand-new single titled “Nyame Ye.” The song, whose title translates to “God is Good” in Akan, was officially released on Thursday, January 8, 2026, and marks her first official track of the year.
“Nyame Ye” celebrates the faithfulness and goodness of God, blending traditional African rhythms with contemporary gospel elements, a sound that has become part of Afia Ayiwah’s signature style. The uplifting lyrics and energetic arrangement are designed to inspire gratitude and hope in listeners, particularly as they start the year.
This release follows Afia Ayiwah’s previous work, including her 2025 single “Testify,” which also received positive attention from gospel audiences for its message of testimony and resilience.
The new single “Nyame Ye” is now available on all major digital platforms.
