Controversial media personality Afia Schwarzenegger has demanded the arrest of Kennedy Agyapong, the former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, for his alleged role in the death of Ahmed Suale, the former journalist for Tiger Eye PI.
The call comes after the recent arrest of Daniel Owusu Koranteng, a former colleague of Suale’s, who has been accused of selling photos of the slain journalist to Agyapong.
Despite Koranteng being taken into custody in connection with the murder, Agyapong remains free, which has sparked public outrage.
Afia Schwarzenegger, in her reaction, pointed out that while Koranteng may have sold the photos, it was Agyapong who publicly exposed Suale’s identity, a move she believes directly contributed to the journalist’s tragic death.
She emphasized that it was Agyapong’s actions that led to Suale being targeted, and thus, he should be held accountable.
Afia’s comments have reignited the debate surrounding Agyapong’s involvement in the case and the justice process for Ahmed Suale. Many are now questioning why the former MP has not faced charges despite his apparent role in the events leading to Suale’s murder.
