A Nigerian man has come forward with a deeply personal account of heartbreak, manipulation, and emotional trauma following the breakdown of his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, whom he accuses of lying, physical abuse, and emotional deceit.
The man, who says he met his ex in 2022 while still in school, revealed that the relationship started on shaky ground. He claims she initially denied having a child, only to later admit it after he discovered the truth. Despite this, he stayed, even helping raise her son and sending financial support to her family.
According to his account, their relationship grew quickly but was riddled with betrayal. He says he moved to Lagos at her request and joined her business, sacrificing his own goals in the process. Yet, behind his back, she allegedly maintained ties with her ex and exchanged flirty messages with other men—even while lying next to him in bed.
The man also recounted moments of emotional and physical violence, stating that she once locked him inside their room during an argument, leading him to flee and sleep in a hotel out of fear. He alleges that she hit him multiple times, drank heavily during their fights, and once shoved him so hard it dislocated his shoulder. At one point, overwhelmed by emotion, he admits to damaging items in the house during a breakdown, realizing everything inside belonged to her while he had nothing left.
He further claimed that their joint rent agreement became a flashpoint in their crumbling relationship. Although they both contributed, he said she hid money from him, and lied about family emergencies to manipulate situations. After their breakup, she moved out, and he reportedly sold the generator and AC to quietly settle debts she owed others.
The man says he initially stayed silent out of respect, but with her allegedly spreading false accusations of abuse, he’s now willing to take legal steps to clear his name. He says he has receipts, bank records, and third-party confirmations to back up his side of the story.
The ex-partner in question has yet to respond publicly to the extensive revelations. However, the man insists that if any more false accusations surface, he’s fully prepared to defend himself in court.
