Nana Agradaa has reignited her public feud with gospel singer Empress Gifty, turning to social media to vent her frustration after a major legal setback.
Just a day after a Tema High Court dismissed her attempt to block a defamation suit, Agradaa took to her platform with renewed aggression. The court not only rejected her request to halt proceedings but also penalized her with a GH¢6,000 fine for delays caused by her legal team’s absence at a previous hearing.
But instead of backing off, Agradaa responded with a bold online outburst. She warned that she would not be silenced and made it clear that any attempts to restrict her public commentary would be met with strong resistance.
Her video response portrayed her as the one under attack, accusing Empress Gifty of initiating the insults and then hiding behind legal protection when confronted. Agradaa insisted she would continue to fight back on her own terms, especially on social media.
In a surprising twist, she hinted at filing her own lawsuit, claiming she had grounds to take legal action over defamatory remarks allegedly made against her—particularly involving a political figure linked to the National Democratic Congress.
This fiery exchange comes after Empress Gifty sued Agradaa for GH¢20 million, following offensive claims made during a live broadcast in May 2025. The gospel artist also secured a temporary injunction barring Agradaa from mentioning her name online.
With both sides showing no signs of de-escalation, all eyes are now on the next hearing, scheduled for July 16, 2025.
