Rev. Owusu Bempah has expressed concerns about President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s governance, likening it to Saul in the Bible.
“God saw the good heart of Saul and gave him Israel to rule, but there came a time when he stopped listening to the prophets and God. God withdrew his favor, and Israel faced difficulties.
“Even when David became king, Israel still suffered until God showed David that he wasn’t the cause. David corrected the mistake, and Israel was free.”
According to Rev. Bempah, like Saul, the President’s heart has changed.
He claimed that President Akufo-Addo’s love for Ghana has waned, and since he couldn’t approach him face-to-face, he had to use social media.
“I am saddened that President Akufo-Addo’s good heart has changed from before he became president. I respect him, but he himself said if he doesn’t do things right in leading the country, I should correct him.”
