Ghanaian artiste manager Lawrence Asiamah, popularly known as Bullgod, has launched a scathing critique of former President Nana Akufo-Addo, claiming that his tenure will be remembered for inflicting hardship on Ghanaians.
Speaking on Accra FM monitored by News and Vibes, Bullgod stated that Akufo-Addo’s leadership was detrimental, asserting that the former President did not show the country the respect and care it deserved.
He controversially remarked that Akufo-Addo should not be acknowledged in public, branding him as ‘nipa fon’, which translates to a foolish person.
“He [Akufo-Addo] was the wrong choice to lead Ghana. He is a nipa fon paaa. He doesn’t deserve to be greeted or respected for the hardship he brought upon Ghanaians,” Bullgod said.
When pressed on his strong comments, Bullgod insisted that his stance was justified, arguing that respect must be earned. He went further to predict a future filled with regret for the former President, claiming that he would live a long life reflecting on the pain he caused.
Bullgod’s statements have sparked discussions about how political legacies are perceived, particularly by influential voices in the entertainment industry. His remarks add to the growing public discourse surrounding the former President’s two terms in office and their impact on Ghana’s socio-economic landscape.
