Ghanaian singer and songwriter Akwaboah has shed light on just how central he was to the creation of Sarkodie’s ‘Mary’ album.
In an interview with Fiifi Pratt on Aluta FM, Akwaboah revealed that he had a hand in nearly every track.
“I did 90% of Mary’s album. I wrote almost every song. I think I only didn’t work on two songs on the album. I also produced the album,” he said.
He also addressed rumours suggesting that Sarkodie overlooked his input on a previous project, dismissing them as unfounded.
“The statement I made was about my growth as an artist; it was not about Sarkodie. No one should go looking for trouble between Sarkodie and me,” Akwaboah added, urging fans to avoid stirring conflict where there is none.
