Match Week 7 of Group B in the University of Ghana Corporate Football League delivered a compelling mix of precision finishing, tactical discipline and tightly contested encounters, as teams battled for crucial points at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The evening began with a statement performance from Wilmar, who recovered from an early setback to secure a convincing 3–1 victory over Ghana Airports Company Limited. Eric Okyere had handed Ghana Airports the lead in the 19th minute, but that advantage proved short-lived as Wilmar seized control with a composed and clinical response. Goals from Sadick Moro, Ayi Tagoe and Roland A. Mensah underlined their attacking efficiency and ensured a deserved turnaround.

Telecel followed with a commanding display against the National Communications Authority, producing a controlled 2–0 win built on defensive solidity and timely finishing. After a balanced opening phase, G. Addo emerged as the difference-maker, striking twice within five minutes late in the game to seal the result. Telecel’s organisation at the back ensured that NCA struggled to create meaningful opportunities throughout the contest.

The most finely balanced fixture of the night saw National Petroleum Authority edge Zenith Bank FC in a tense 1–0 encounter. Sarpong Addo’s early strike in the eighth minute ultimately proved decisive in a match defined by discipline and narrow margins. Zenith Bank pressed for an equaliser but were unable to convert their chances, as NPA held firm to secure all three points.

Caution took centre stage in the clash between BOST Energies and the Forestry Commission, with both sides settling for a goalless draw after a highly tactical contest. Chances were limited as each team prioritised defensive structure, resulting in a stalemate that reflected the evenly matched nature of the fixture.

The final game of the night produced another standout individual performance, as Union Ghana cruised to a 3–0 victory over the Lebanese Sports Community. Emmanuel Arthur stole the spotlight with a clinical hat-trick, leading a dominant display that combined attacking fluency with defensive assurance.

With several teams demonstrating both resilience and attacking quality, the latest round of matches highlighted the growing competitiveness of Group B as the league progresses towards its decisive stages.

The 2026 University of Ghana Corporate Football League continues to draw strong corporate participation, supported by Perla Mineral Water, TCL, Glico General Insurance, Wilmar Africa and the Ghana Football Association, with production led by the University of Ghana Sports and Wellness Directorate and RITE Sports Services.
