Patapaa celebrated his late mother’s one-week anniversary at Agona Swedru in Ghana’s Central Region on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, with his father and siblings.
Social media revealed that Akua Boatemaa, the mother of the One Corner hitmaker, had died on January 15, 2026.
Emmanuel Kwesi Aboagye Essibu, often known as DJ Linguist, a media celebrity from Winneba in the Central Region, initially posted the news online and sent his sympathies to Patapaa and his family, saying:
