The Attorney General (AG) and Minister of Justice, Dr Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, will take his turn at the Government Accountability Series on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Dr Ayine is expected to speak on the progress of cases his office is handling, including those under the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL).

The high-profile cases the Office of the Attorney General is prosecuting include the case of the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), who has been accused of engaging in illegal mining (galamsey).

The AG is also expected to speak on the case of former Minister of Finance Ken Ofori-Atta; former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), Kwabena Adu Boahene, and his wife, Angela Boateng, as well as that of the National Service Scheme (NSS) scandal.

The minister, who is also the Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, is also likely to be questioned on a matter he has termed “Rumble in the Jungle.”
