Black Princesses receive owed per diems for Tunisia World Cup doubleheader

The Ministry of Sports and Recreation has cleared the Black Princesses per diems owed to them for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Qualifier against Tunisia.

Charles Sampson’s team was yet to receive their per diems for the period they were in camp for the double header against the North African side last year.

The Princesses went ahead to beat Tunisia 4-1 on aggregate to advance into the next stage of the qualifying series where they will come up against South Africa.

Ahead of the clash against South Africa which is in three weeks, the Ministry has now cleared the owed per diems.

The payment comes at a good time for the team that face South Africa next month in the third round as they chase another World Cup qualification.
