Ghanaian politician and former COCOBOD senior staff secretary, Clement Opoku Gyamfi, known by the pseudonym Kwame Poku CID has reacted to the struggles of the COCOBOD.
The politician appeared on Kwame Tanko’s “Ghana Se Sen” show where he decided to add his cent to the ongoing issues that revolve around COCOBOD, which have become a topic of online discussion.
As an expert and a former COCOBOD senior staff, Kwame Poku CID has stated emphatically that, if there is anyone to be blamed for the struggles of COCOBOD, then it is its CEO, Randy Abbey.
In buttressing his assertion, Kwame Poku CID said that Randy Abbey has politics influenced him so much that, when he assumed office, he picked staff based on their political affiliations.
Since he is an NDC and the NDC is in power, Kwame Poku CID claims Randy Abbey sacked staff who were not affiliated with the NDC regardless of how professional they were.
After sacking the professionals, Kwame Poku CID noted that Randy Abbey employed NDC members who knew nothing about the job, and, ended up becoming a square peg in a round hole.
