The late Ghanaian Gospel musician Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, affectionately known as KODA, is set to be laid to rest today, September 20, 2024.
His burial service will take place at the KICC Dominion Centre, located on Spintex Road near the Coca-Cola Roundabout in Accra.
As the family prepares for this solemn occasion, they have issued a notice requesting that there be no media coverage or photography during the funeral service.
The family emphasized that this request is made in the interest of privacy, urging attendees to respect their wishes during this difficult time.
The notice, which has garnered attention, reads: “Kindly note, no media coverage and photos during the funeral services.
Thank you for respecting our request for privacy. Your condolences are greatly appreciated.”
KODA passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2024, at the age of 45, leaving behind a legacy of impactful music that touched the hearts of many in the gospel community and beyond.
Many have reported that he died of a kidney disease.
