JOINT STATEMENT BY
THE “BRING BACK MAHAMA” GROUP
AND
FRIENDS OF MAHAMA**
The Bring Back Mahama Group and Friends of Mahama, as committed supporters of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and believers in the progress of our dear nation Ghana, wish to address Ghanaians, party faithful, and sympathizers across the country.
At this critical moment in our nation’s history, our primary focus remains supporting President John Dramani Mahama to reset Ghana, rebuild trust in leadership, strengthen our economy, and restore hope to the Ghanaian people. We firmly believe that Ghana’s current challenges require unity, discipline, and unwavering commitment to national development .
We therefore call on all supporters, sympathizers, and well-wishers of President Mahama to remain focused, calm, and constructive, and to channel their energies into assisting the government to deliver on its Reset Agenda — including economic recovery, job creation, institutional reforms, and social protection.
President Mahama has consistently demonstrated respect for the Constitution of the Republic of Ghana and democratic governance. We acknowledge and respect his leadership, wisdom, and statesmanship. Our groups do not seek to impose decisions on him, but rather to support his vision and leadership, guided always by what he considers to be in the best interest of Ghana.
That said, we wish to state clearly that should President John Dramani Mahama, after careful reflection and broad consultation, decide at any point to offer himself again for service to the nation, we — the Bring Back Mahama Group and Friends of Mahama — will give him our full, unreserved, and loyal support.
Our loyalty is not to ambition, but to results, integrity, and leadership that improves the lives of Ghanaians. Until then, our duty is to help ensure the success of the Reset Agenda and to contribute positively to making Ghana a better place for present and future generations.
We urge all Ghanaians to remain united, peaceful, and committed to national development, and to place Ghana first in all discussions and actions.
