Shocking footage has emerged from Japekrom, Jaman South Municipality, Bono Region, capturing a violent altercation between a 30-year-old man and a Police Chief Inspector. The incident unfolded when the officer attempted to arrest the man following a complaint filed by the man’s girlfriend for physical assault.
In the video, the man is seen engaging in a physical altercation with the Police Chief Inspector, refusing to comply with the officer’s attempts to arrest him. Despite the officer’s efforts to maintain control, the man continues to resist, leading to a heated confrontation.
Eyewitnesses report that the Police Chief Inspector had visited the man’s residence to invite him to the police station for questioning.
However, the man insisted that he would come later as he had other obligations. Unwilling to leave without the suspect, the officer remained at the scene, which escalated tensions between the two parties.
The situation escalated further when the man’s mother intervened, urging the police officer to leave her son alone. However, the officer remained steadfast in his duty, determined to carry out the arrest.
After several minutes of resistance, the officer resorted to calling for backup. With the man still refusing to cooperate, additional police officers arrived at the scene and eventually managed to apprehend the suspect.
