Old videos of Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Chairman Wontumi, have recently gone viral on social media amid rumors of his arrest. In the footage, Wontumi is seen making serious allegations against Ghana’s Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, accusing her of practicing witchcraft.
He suggested that the choice of Naana Jane as running mate by former President John Mahama was a strategic move meant to mislead the public. Wontumi claimed that many voted for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) because of her gender, but insisted that her character is far different from public perception.
Wontumi went further to describe the Vice President as malevolent behind the scenes and implied that her appearance reflects this negative trait. He encouraged critics to examine her closely to understand his claims.
