Former Deputy Director-General of the Ghana Education Service, Dr. Kwabena Bempah Tandoh, has confirmed that the Ashanti Regional Chairman on the NPP ticket, Chairman Wontumi, attended Prempeh College.
The Educationist disclosed while speaking on “Personality Profile” on Joy News, monitored by Gh Page.
During the interview, Dr. Tandoh falsified claims that Chairman Wontumi didn’t attend Prempeh College, citing his slurs against “brofo funu”.
According to the educationist, apart from the fact that Chairman Wontumi was his classmate, he was also his roommate, adding that they both were in Aggrey House, Dorm 7.
. “I know in this country people are always wondering whether Wontumi went to Prempeh College. Wontumi was my mate. We went into Form One together. Not only was he my classmate, but he was actually my dorm mate,” he said.
Adding that “We were in Aggrey House, Dorm 7. Those were times that built great friendships, and that friendship has stayed with us into our adult lives”.
